Chiefs vs Blues Match Preview
The Chiefs accounted for their nemesis side the Crusaders whilst the Brumbies escaped from jail against the Cheetahs. Obviously the Chiefs performance stands out as the better of the two but both sides have changed this week.
For the Brumbies errant fly-half Matt Toomua is out which means Christian Lealiifano takes over. Michael Hooper and Scott Fardy will both make thier Brumbies debuts in the loose forwards. Nic White is still struggling with a virus and will be on the bench.
For the Chiefs Hika Elliot will miss this match with an eye injury and Asaeli Tikoirotuma is on bereavement leave.
The Chiefs are expected to annihilate the Brumbies but I expect them to have to work for it. Lealiifano is an upgrade and with Nic White coming on late it could make for a very interesting conclusion in this one. Nevertheless, I will take the Chiefs by 1-12.
